Peach, to be exact. Pies are all about the crust. If you have a good crust, you can put just about anything sweet in the middle and still have a good pie. I have discovered if I brush the bottom crust with egg white before filling it, I don't get a soggy bottom. I just hate a soggy bottom.
Blackberry pie was my dad's favorite. Jim likes a good coconut cream and my nephew, Jason, loves Aunt Steph's apple pie.
