Starting At The Beginning

I am learning the Hebraic roots of my faith.  

Torah Lesson #1

Kindergarten Version

God reveals so much about himself in his name:  "Yahweh."

It is four Hebrew letters:  Yod, Hey, Vav, Hey.

Hebrew letters, by the way, are pictures, read from right to left: Window, Nail, Window, Hand.

His name?  "Look, the nail!  Look, the hand!"

I'm thinking this is a very good place to start.
